Worthington Scouts continued to work on their Pioneering skills, as well as brushing up on teamwork tonight. They made cubes with square lashings to show the importance of tight and secure lashings. Some found it easier than others, but we all got there in the end – with a bit of teamwork 😉

Walkden Scouts had a wet but wild evening of geocaching – despite the weather! The Scouts headed down to the park to practise their skills. They didn’t let the rain dampen their enthusiasm and everyone had a great time!

Worthington Scouts had an amazing time at Sale Fire Station. They learned all about fire safety and the the work that amazing fire fighters do. After finishing up some of the required skills to earn their First Aid badges, the Walkden Scouts welcomed their newest Scout. It’s always a great evening when we invest a new member.

It’s a testimony to the success of this group, that we have nearly twice as many Scouts than this time last year.

Worthington worked on more elements of their World Challenge badge by looking at disability and what that means. They talked about different types of disabilities, and how some are visible but some may not be.
