The Scouts gave up their Saturday afternoon last weekend to pack some bags in Tesco in Sale.  They were hoping to raise money to pay for their 2018 Jamboree Camp.  The children were polite and did an excellent job, looking very smart.  We were proud to have them represent 14th Sale.  Thanks to the parentsContinue reading “Every little helps!”

We finally managed to get a photo of the Tuesday night Scouts, Worthington.  I’m sure you’ll agree they all look very smart in their new neckers.  Only 11 Scouts at the moment, but the group will continue to grow as five more Cubs join the pack after Easter.  14th Sale going from strength to strength.

Please welcome our newest Scout into the Worthington Scouts section…Megan Maggs!  We invested her the only way we knew how: with a show! On Friday 16th February, Megan took the stage at the Garrick Theatre, Altrincham, to make her Promise.  Here’s to a fantastic year in Scouting.

On Monday night, the Walkden Scouts group proudly renewed their Scout Pledge and accepted their new-look neckers, to celebrate 80 years of 14th Sale Scouts.  A party and games night was held afterwards to celebrate.  Here’s to another 80 years of Scouting!
