Turns out the kids do listen!

So after teaching and practising map reading skills with the Worthington Scouts last week, we decided to see if they had been paying attention….

The Scouts were split into three groups and the parents dropped them off at the Bridge Inn. Accompanied by parent helpers, each group had to use the map to visit a specified location in Sale before returning to the Scout hut.  One group took the scenic route (otherwise known as the long way round!), but all the groups made it back in time to the hut, proving they had indeed learned to read and use a map!  Another skill ticked off the list!

The winning group was Paul’s group.  Well done to everyone who came along.  Great night!
