Worthington Scouts got straight back to work after their Christmas break with some Level 4 First Aid. The Scouts looked at how to make a 999 call and what to say. They learned how to assess an emergency medical situation with the mnemonic DR ABC (ask your Scout if you don’t know!), and how to put someone into the recovery position. An excellent start to the new year, teaching the Scouts some real-world skills.
