The 14th Sale Scouts continued their 80th birthday celebrations in style with a Weekend Family Camp at Linnet Clough. Despite inclement weather forecasts, the rain was kind to them and more or less stayed away. it certainly didn’t stop the eager Beavers – and Cubs and Scouts! There were all the usual activities of football, team games, campfire singing, archery, shooting and of course, The Cube! It was amazing to see so many young people challenge themselves at take on The Cube – and win!
An amazing time was had by all. A big thank you to everyone who organised the event, but also to the kids and parents for coming along and making the event such an enjoyable and memorable occasion.
