On 20th June, we formally welcomed Stuart to our 14th Sale Scout Group, and he proudly accepted the title of Akela. He will now be in charge of running the Cubs on a Wednesday. As an experienced Cub leader, we are thrilled he has chosen to join our Group. We are excited to see what dynamic and challenging activities he has planned for our young people. Be sure to say Hi! and introduce yourself when you see him!
Stuart also wanted to say a few words to introduce himself too….
“Hi everyone!
I thought it was about time I introduced myself properly! My name is Stuart and as of September I will be taking over 14th Sale Cubs. I have been a Cub leader for nearly 8 years now; most recently in Hale. I have also been Assistant District Commissioner for Cubs in Altrincham District.
I’m really looking forward to getting involved at 14th Sale. I will do my best to try and keep to the high standards Andrew has set for the Cub section, big shoes to fill!
Everyone has been really welcoming so far and the Cubs have been great. I have met some of you already. I am popping into Family Camp this weekend and will be at the AGM at the end of the month. It would be great to meet more of you, so please come and say hi. I like to think I’m pretty approachable.
