Some of the Walkden Scouts had a bit of a taster session tonight to lean what it’s like on a Survival Camp. They all met at Priory Woods to learn how to build a shelter. Its included finding the perfect location and suitable spine for the shelter. The Scouts also have to collect and stack the branches to insulate their shelter for warmth and dryness. The shelters weren’t quite finished in the short time we had, but a good time was had by all!
