The Cubs took advantage of the glorious summer’s eve, to run their meeting outside in the recently landscaped and improved outdoor area.
The Sceince badge was run by Tristan. Lots of parent helpers meant there were lots of hands-on activities to explore. The Cubs learned about air and fire with hot air balloons, volcanoes and lava lamps. They looked at living things by starting some cress-growing experiments. They also explored the concept of water pressure.
The Cubs had a great evening and are all excited to continue their learning after the summer break.
