It was the perfect day for messing about on the river – well canal!
The Cub team from 14th competed again other Cubs teams from the Sale area. There were many heats , races and competitions, but despite their best efforts, the Cubs didn’t make it to the final. Well done to the winning team!
However, it was a fabulous way to spend a sunny Sunday, and an opportunity to see the new houseboat that will be available soon for community groups to use.
A big thank you to Grip Adventure for making the event possible. https://www.gripadventure.co.uk/ Check out their website and see what opportunities there are to have a go at canoeing and other outdoor activities.
