As part of our Animal Friend badge, we invited the children to bring in some of their interesting pets for a show and tell session. We were thrilled to meet a giant African snail, a bearded dragon, and a dog! Their Beaver owners did a super job of talking to the group about their pet: what they like, what they don’t like, and most importantly, how to take great care of them. We then talked about other animals and thought about what they liked to eat and how to care for them.
