19th July saw an impressive turn out (our biggest yet) for the AGM in the hut. It was a great celebration of everything that makes 14th Sale awesome.
Young people were invested, Andrew and Liz received their Wood badges, and Roberta was welcomed as one of the Scout leaders for Walkden pack. There were awards aplenty too… from a whopping 220 Beaver badges to 3 Gold awards for the older children. There were also five new girls invested.
Andrew and the Scouts provided the entertainment for the evening.
There was also the opportunity to celebrate the commitment and hard work of Paul Dixon and John Casson as they retired as Chair and Secretary. 14th Sale Scouts would not be the group it is today without their continued dedication over the years.
