The weather was not in our favour this weekend, so reluctantly the Survival Camp was re-worked into a Survival skills day. The kids made the best of it and once again had the opportunity to try out many things, some for the first time. What was great, was meeting and working with the Cubs from 4th Hale.
There was wood-burning, tomahawks, gutting fish (this one got a mixed response!), first aid….. Definitely a fun-packed day. But there was still time to hang out around the campfire and for a few minutes of football at the end of the day!
