The parents had got a little bit fed up with the kids having all the fun… so a Paddle and a Pint night was organised so the parents could experience first-hand the fun their kids have when they go out on their adventures with 14th Sale!
It was a gloriously sunny evening, perfect for messing about on the river – well, canal! It was run by the fab Glenn at Grip Adventures, who has helped out with a number of different activities for the children.
There was a great deal of laughter and a few pints too. A couple of parents also got dunked! Hopefully, this will be the first event of many where the parents and leaders get to have a bit of time-out too. Go 14th Sale!
