Tonight the Cubs welcomed Christine, Steve and his guide dog Eaton. The Cubs learned all about how the dogs are trained, how they help their owners, and how the guide dogs are completely funded by donations from generous people.
The Cubs loved having the opportunity to meet Eaton. They listened with interest and asked some great questions. They were also sent home with a treat and a challenge….the treat was a tube of Smarties, the challege is to fill it with 20 pence pieces and return it after Christmas, to raise much needed funds for the Guide Dogs.
