No, not a fieldtrip to Australia, but a night trip to Alderley Edge caves. The Worthington Scouts had a great evening, and faced down some of their own fears as they crawled through the small, dark, damp tunnels. However, one person who deserves a special mention tonight is Andy! He really didn’t find this event easy, a really personal challenge. But as ever in Scouting, he was glad he’d pushed himself that little bit further and felt a real sense of achievement at the end of the activity. It just goes to show, you’re never too old to try something new. But don’t expect caving to be on the Programme again any time soon!
